Skoda Peaq, first sketches of the exterior

Skoda has unveiled the exterior sketches of its new seven-seater electric SUV, Peaq, anticipating a stylistic identity designed to stand out at first glance. The vehicle’s presence is defined by well-delineated surfaces, precise lines, and distinctive luminous elements, capable of communicating solidity and character. The exterior concept, presented as the Modern Solid design language, aims for a balance between refined proportions and coherent details. All this with a design footprint that aims to remain contemporary over time.

In a section dedicated to the creative vision, Karl Neuhold, Head of Exterior Design at Skoda, explained how Modern Solid was uniformly applied to Peaq. Translated: clean lines, precisely sculpted surfaces, and a range of recognizable details. Among these, the T-shaped headlights and the Tech-Deck Face stand out, contributing to expressing the brand’s identity in the new electric era. At the front, the volcano-shaped bumper asserts itself with a pronounced lower profile and a well-defined horizontal line, creating a dynamic contrast to the more technical and graphic design of the front.

Debut on June 23

The visual signature also continues on the side and rear. The side view is dominated by the high waistline and wide rear pillars, while structured surfaces reinforce the SUV’s bold proportions. The sketches also show flush door handles, perfectly integrated. At the rear, the T-shaped taillights and the connecting element echo the ring motif already seen at the front, ensuring aesthetic coherence and immediate recognition. The world premiere of the new Skoda Peaq will take place in Monnetier-Mornex, France, on June 23rd.
