Verstappen’s words
“Monaco always reveals surprises, so who knows – said Verstappen – the Red Bull RB22 is a good car in slow corners, but we suffer on the bumps and curbs which are fundamental here. In any case, it’s always nice to race in Monaco, even if my first memory isn’t the best (he crashed into the wall at Sainte-Devote while battling with Grosjean, ed.). What do we need to fight with the top teams? More power and more grip, plus we need to make the tires work in a better window. The F1 2027 rules? Discussions are ongoing, I have faith in the FIA. In any case, it’s positive that it’s being discussed. The fact that I participate in events outside of F1 doesn’t affect my performance here; in fact, the fact that I enjoy myself brings me back to F1 with positive feelings, and that can only help.”
