Francesco Bagnaia comes off two consecutive podiums. While the one at Montmeló was also lucky – favored by others’ knockouts and disqualifications – the third place at Mugello came thanks to a great pace, at least in the first part of the race. For several weeks “Pecco” has stated he has increasingly better feelings, even if not perfect on braking, on the Ducati: the real test will come at Balaton Park, a stop&go track that does not favor cornering.

Bagnaia will approach the weekend with great enthusiasm, based on the positive signs gathered at Mugello, aiming to reduce the gap from the reference riders and return to fighting more consistently in the top positions.
