The new Lancia Gamma is taking shape. The Turin-based company has unveiled the first images of its new flagship, marking a key milestone in the brand’s journey. The car is designed, engineered, and developed in Italy, and will be produced at the Melfi plant, one of the most advanced sites of the Stellantis Group. Lancia has announced that the first vehicles are already engaged in road testing: the project is now entering its final stages.

Lancia Gamma is coming

From a technical point of view, the new Gamma is based on the STLA Medium platform. It is effectively a fastback crossover with sleek lines and a tapered rear. Dimensions: it is 4.67 meters long, 1.89 meters wide, and 1.66 meters high, designed to combine efficiency, functionality, and road presence. The company has stated that order opening is expected after summer, with more details to be shared in the coming months.

Varied powertrain lineup

Meanwhile, let’s take a look at the powertrain lineup. At the base, there is a 145 HP hybrid version with a range exceeding 1,000 km. Alternatively, Lancia has prepared a 100% electric lineup that spans multiple levels. In fact, there is a 230 HP variant with a range over 540 km, a 245 HP variant with a range over 740 km, and a 375 HP AWD all-wheel-drive version with a range up to 675 km.
