Verstappen is a cyclone
Max Verstappen seriously risked ending the 24 at the Ring during the first lap of his stint, but the thrill left no traces on the four-time F1 world champion who went on the attack as if there were 22 minutes and not 22 hours to the checkered flag.
The Dutch driver made overtakes on the outside putting his wheels on the grass, pulled off a stunning braking in Turn 1 and chained other surgical maneuvers devouring opponents one after another until bringing Mercedes #3 to the lead of the 24 hours of Nurburgring.
Below the roundup of Verstappen’s feats, a true cyclone in this first stint in which the 1997-born displayed his full repertoire showing off a superb racecraft.
