Reset at Jerez
The Austin weekend in the United States was ruthless towards the Yamaha. The M1s finished in the last four positions among the riders who reached the finish line, and Jack Miller openly said he felt “like a lamb to the slaughter” every time he had to ride the long straight that characterizes the central part of the Texas track.
Toprak Razgatlioglu was the best Yamaha rider at the finish in fifteenth position, but he emphasized that there is very little to celebrate considering the gap from the top: “It was positive to score the first point and beat Fabio, but in the end, among the Yamahas, we were all close and finished 25 seconds from the top. I can’t be happy, we’ll see in the next races.”

The next appointment is at Jerez, a track that Razgatlioglu knows very well, but in some ways it will be like a first time for the Turkish rider: “I have to forget how I rode in Superbike on that track – added the Pramac rider as reported by crash.net – on a MotoGP the priority is cornering speed, you have to adapt a completely different riding style, I know because I have already done a test on that track with a MotoGP.”
