Waiting for the start of the 2026 World Championship, which will kick off with the 6 Hours of Imola on the weekend of April 17 to 19, the reigning Drivers’ and Constructors’ champion Ferrari in the Hypercar category experienced a particularly emotional day yesterday at the Udine-Rivolto airport, where the official 499Ps were presented with the spectacular flyover of the Frecce Tricolori. A few hours later, in the evening, there was the presentation of another Ferrari, in this case a private entry and winner of the last edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Very similar livery
This is the Piacenza-based team AF Corse, which unveiled its #83 at the Kilometro Rosso in Bergamo. The latter will once again see Robert Kubica, Philip Hanson and Ye Yifei at the wheel, with a livery for the #83 very similar to the one seen last year, characterized by the Giallo Modena color and red inserts. The novelty, in fact, consists of the new sponsor ESA NanoTech, a company specialized in the sustainable production of graphene through a methodology that transforms plastic material into advanced high-performance compounds.

The event could not miss the President of ESA NanoTech, Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio, proud of the agreement reached with AF Corse: “The entry of ESA NanoTech into the world of WEC alongside AF Corse and Ferrari underlines our desire to enhance the genius and engineering of Made in Italy. At Kilometro Rosso, we work every day to innovate, and there is no more severe and prestigious testing ground than the track to demonstrate the value of our vision. It is an honor to link the name of ESA NanoTech to such a high-level crew, with the aim of continuing to write memorable pages in the history of motorsport”. Also thanking Del Vecchio for the trust placed in his team was Amato Ferrari, founder of AF Corse.
