“On Tuesday, during the tests here in Sepang, I had a bad accident. Following the accident, I suffered several bruises and four fractured vertebrae, albeit slightly, and fortunately without spinal cord involvement. After a few days at the CU Aurelius hospital, where I was treated impeccably, I can now return home with Laura, who came to my rescue from the other side of the world (again, and I’ve lost count…). There we will evaluate if surgery at Quirón Dexeus will be necessary. Thanks to the whole Honda team for taking care of me these past few days. Sorry for the scare, I’ll be back!”
