With three wins in three Grands Prix, Mercedes obviously has every interest in magnifying the new regulatory course. And so it is not surprising that co-owner, CEO, and team principal Toto Wolff is the most enthusiastic about the new course of the category, which is making the Silver Arrows shine again.

Mercedes dominates and Wolff gloats
The Austrian manager, speaking to Sky Deutschland, is obviously the one having the most fun in the paddock: “Formula 1 is changing and becoming pure racing. Seeing one driver recharging energy and the other using it is very exciting. We are talking about a racing science that is developing and is in the hands of the drivers. But perhaps Max and the others preferred last year’s rules, when we saw almost no overtaking here at Suzuka.”

Toto Wolff then tried to involve the journalists around him, but found a lukewarm response: “No one can complain about the lack of beauty in the races. Do you agree, yes or no?”
Faced with the silence of his interlocutors, Wolff replied: “Only conservatives, traditionalists, and those who live in the past can dislike it.” However, the Austrian manager opened up to some changes: “For me the race is not a problem; we need to work on qualifying and we will do so in London on April 9.”
