Antonelli rammed Hadjar
Andrea Kimi Antonelli had another bad start in the Sprint in China – here is his explanation – and in the hectic phases of the start he rammed Isack Hadjar significantly damaging the French driver’s RB22.

Antonelli was punished with a 10-second penalty which was absorbed by making the pit stop under Safety Car conditions following the technical DNF of Nico Hulkenberg’s Audi.

Hadjar did not hide his frustration at the end of the race to the microphones of Canal+: “Antonelli ruined my race, I don’t know why he is so overexcited, he has a car that is a missile“. The Red Bull driver had started on soft tires and finished the Sprint in 15th position.
