A very bitter Misano
Out of Q1 on Saturday, out of the points in the Sprint, fallen when he was in the back of the pack in the race: the Misano weekend was definitely far from happy for Pecco Bagnaia.
The Italian rider never found the feeling with his Ducati and slid off after just five laps, bringing to three the negative streak of 0 scored between Silverstone, Aragon and, indeed, Misano.
Results decidedly not up to either Bagnaia’s career or the official Ducati, which today placed three bikes in the top 4.

Bagnaia in monosyllables
At the microphones of Sky Italia appeared a Pecco Bagnaia decidedly few words: “I slid off, it can happen. I have little to say, honestly. Ducati did a great job, they won and so we will find the solution”. It is worth noting the now clear disconnect between the two-time MotoGP world champion and his team, since he seems to speak of them now as an ex with that “they won” that says more than a thousand words.
Bagnaia then did not want to clarify the reasons for the fall, cutting short the request for explanations: “I slid off“. Journalists then tried to provoke him: “Regaining competitiveness in Aprilia? Let’s hope, I am 100% convinced it can be so. However, there are still 8 races and the situation is not easy. I am pushing hard and I don’t have the feeling, as soon as I try to do something different I slide. I am very sorry, because my team is really working hard to give me the chance to do well. However, the results do not come and so it is difficult to accept. This is the reality of the facts, I slid off again today. I hope to do better”.

Bagnaia was then asked whether it is legitimate to expect a recovery for the Motegi race, Pecco’s cryptic answer: “We’ll see, it depends. What it depends on I won’t say, but it depends“.
Closing on the next stop at the Red Bull Ring: “Austria is a beautiful track. I have always had great weekends until two years ago and so let’s hope to be able to do so again”.
