Here is the report of what happened in this qualifying and the starting grid for the Sprint and GP.

11:35 – The Bezzecchi-Marquez duel is confirmed; disappointment for Martin, who is ‘only’ fifth and will have to try to recover positions at the start of the Sprint this afternoon.

11:32 – Marc Marquez and Jorge Martin abort their respective laps. Qualifying at Misano ends here. Pole position for Bezzecchi, on the front row Marc Marquez and Aldeguer.

10:38 – Aprilia and Ducati dominance at the moment: the top eight positions are all occupied by Italian bikes. The first ‘other’ is Quartararo in P9.

10:37 – Ducati’s response is entrusted to Morbidelli: third position for him in 1:31.278.

10:36 – Here’s Martin! He takes the lead in 1:31.128 but is immediately overtaken by teammate Bezzecchi in 1:31.113.
