“It was not the weekend I wanted. Physically it was tough, but I am fine. Emotionally it hurts even more that something like this happened right here at home in front of all of you fans,” admitted the Ferrari driver frankly, concluding: “Thank you for the incredible welcome and for the support you have shown me. Monza with you is something really special.”

In the Spanish daily Marca, Dr. Isabel Ornaque, medical head of Madring, spoke, revealing that the accident Leclerc had at Parabolica generated an acceleration of 23G. The driver underwent a CT scan in Monaco to assess whether the stun following the impact had any specific cause.
