Norris follows in the footsteps of idol Rossi: the LN4 Fusion team is born

Norris: more than a driver

The project had been in the air for some time, and in the end it came true: a few days before the Italian Grand Prix, where both the Formula 3 and Formula 2 championships will return to the track after a long summer break, Lando Norris announced the founding of his own team: LN4 Fusion. The team, created together with manager Dan Richards, has effectively taken over the current AIX Racing (which was supposed to participate in F3 also in 2027), and has already introduced those who will hold the highest roles within the newly born team.

The team formation and the academy

It starts with René Rosin, who after a long history at Prema characterized by winning over 40 championships will take on the role of team principal. Also Dan Hazlewood, who brought Fusion Motorsport to success in numerous national and international karting series, will be team principal, but in this case in the British championships in which LN4 Fusion will participate. Added to these profiles is Guillame Capietto, Racing Director, with the project not limited to just creating the team: Norris, in fact, also launched his own academy, renamed LN4 Legacy and managed by Julian Rouse.

The participations

The debut of LN4 Fusion will therefore take place next season in several championships: in addition to the categories of Italian and British F4, the team will be present in Formula Regional European, then stepping onto the track in Formula 3. Furthermore, an additional project aimed at entering Formula 2 remains open, not yet official: “You need the right people by your side, the right support and the right opportunities at the right time – Norris commented – this is exactly the meaning of these two projects. LN4 Fusion aims to create a team capable of competing at the highest levels in youth motorsport, relying on great professionals and offering drivers an ideal environment for their growth. The LN4 Legacy program, instead, aims to help talented young drivers get opportunities they otherwise would not have. For me, these two projects fit perfectly together. I want to help create opportunities for the next generation, both on and off the track, and I hope to really make a difference for young drivers entering this sport. I am also really grateful to TUMI and Monster for choosing to embark on this journey with us. They have supported me personally for a long time, so it’s great to be able to count on their support for what we are building with LN4 Fusion and the LN4 Legacy program. Soon other partners of mine will join us as well; I can’t wait to reveal the details.”
