The tribute to Schumacher
Ferrari has recently revealed its intention to celebrate the winning streak experienced with Michael Schumacher at Monza, on the occasion of the Italian Grand Prix.
Thirty years ago, in 1996, it was in fact the first season of the German champion at Maranello, the dawn of a glorious chapter that gave Ferrari fans five world drivers’ titles and six constructors’ titles.
And so a special livery was chosen, precisely to remember that fortunate period for the Prancing Horse.

Tribute laps by Rubens Barrichello and Sebastian Vettel
The fans present in the stands of the Monza National Autodrome will also have a nice surprise, because they will hear the beautiful Ferrari F2002 roar on the track.
On Saturday afternoon it will be Rubens Barrichello to complete some laps with that single-seater, which saw him win precisely at Monza in 2002.

On Sunday it will instead be Sebastian Vettel, raised in the myth of Michael Schumacher and Ferrari, to drive the same car. The German will get into the cockpit of the F2002 shortly before the start of the Italian Grand Prix.
Finally, at the autodrome there will be two other significant single-seaters from Schumacher’s career, namely the beginning and the end of his experience in red: the 1996 F310 and the 2006 248F1.
