Stellantis has announced the appointment of Arnaud Belloni as CEO of the FIAT, Abarth and Lancia brands and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Europe, reporting to Emanuele Cappellano, Chief Operating Officer for Enlarged Europe. In view of this whirlwind of appointments, the Italo-French group has announced that Olivier François will support Belloni until mid-October. The goal? “Ensure an orderly transition. He will continue to support the group as Stellantis Strategic Advisor”, explains the company.

Belloni new CEO of FIAT
For Belloni, this is a return and not a first time. In the past, in fact, he has already spent 16 years leading the marketing strategy of the company’s Italian and French brands. Among the various roles held, Stellantis itself recalls, he was marketing director of FIAT and Lancia for France, managing director of Lancia for France and Vice President Marketing for the Asia Pacific region. From 2015 to 2020, he was also Global Chief Marketing Officer for Communication and Sport at Citroen. He now returns to the group after being at Renault, where since November 2020 he held the role of Global Chief Marketing Officer and, since May 2023, that of Chief Branding Officer for all the group’s brands.
Two product novelties expected
Gaetano Thorel will continue to lead FIAT and Abarth in Enlarged Europe. But not only that: he will also take on responsibility for Lancia, with functional reporting to Arnaud Belloni. As for FIAT, after the Grande Panda the Turin car manufacturer is preparing to launch on the market Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback, which will represent two of the next key novelties in the brand’s offering in the C segment, thus further expanding its presence in one of the most important areas of the European market.
