F1, Hadjar frames Monza
Isack Hadjar sat “on the bench” in Zandvoort due to a left wrist injury sustained during a gym training session. A wise choice, made by the Frenchman, also after consulting Marc Marquez: Hadjar is performing well even in Red Bull and certainly did not need to shine in the Netherlands to prove he has a great future in F1.

For a driver, such an injury would require caution. And indeed, after two weeks, Hadjar is still wearing a wrist brace. However, the Frenchman is eager and wants to be there in Monza for the Italian GP from September 4-6.
Hadjar’s words
“This is the first injury ever in my career. It’s strange to be on the bench and I am not happy about it at all, neither for myself nor for the team. Obviously, I would always like to be on track“, this is Hadjar’s comment.

“The wrist is not swollen, and that is a good sign. It is healing quickly, every day I have a bit more mobility and I am optimistic for Monza“, he added.
At the moment, neither Red Bull nor Hadjar have confirmed plans for Monza. Certainly, the Milton Keynes team has abundance in the driver department, being able to afford the luxury of fielding Yuki Tsunoda in case of problems with the main drivers. The Japanese, debuting with the new cars, immediately came close to the points zone in Zandvoort, finishing ahead of Arvid Lindblad.
