Over the weekend, MotoGP races at Aragon, the track that two years ago ended Marc Marquez‘s winless streak in MotoGP. At the beloved Motorland of Alcaniz, Marc Marquez in 2024 dominated the weekend, finally collecting a victory in the premier class that had been missing since 2021 after more than 1000 days.

In 2025 Marquez won his ninth world title in his career dominating the season, but this year the chase for the tenth crown which would mean overtaking Valentino Rossi started with rather unfortunate premises only to manage to get back in the race also thanks to points wasted by Aprilia riders, particularly Marco Bezzecchi.
For Marquez, a full haul at Aragon is fundamental, but after what was seen at Silverstone it cannot be taken for granted, even if at Sachsenring he collected all the available points after a colorless weekend at Assen.

According to Kenny Roberts, Marc Marquez has actually never really felt fully comfortable on the Ducati: “I like Marc because he is very aggressive – explained the American legend who won in the 500 class from 1978 to 1980 – but in my opinion he has never really felt comfortable with the Ducati. He doesn’t ride like he does with the Honda. His riding style is different from the others, and I think he needs a bike designed for that style. I don’t think he has it at the moment.”
