Hamilton did not digest the tactical immobility

Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc obviously race on equal terms at Ferrari and it is not easy for the Maranello Scuderia pit wall to make decisions that inevitably benefit only one driver and potentially harm the race outcome of the other.
Today specifically Hamilton in the stint with hard tires ran 2-3 laps behind Charles Leclerc who had medium tires at the end of their life and lost precious time that in hindsight could have been worth the podium.

Hamilton at the end of the race did not spare criticism of the Ferrari pit wall also because in Mercedes today team orders did arrive: “I want to win. I am here to win. It’s hard to see that at Mercedes they gave the order to Russell to let Antonelli pass with the drivers ready to follow the pit wall’s requests while here at Ferrari it’s not the same thing. I was on a different strategy just like Antonelli. I lost 3-4 seconds behind Leclerc which in the end proved decisive. I will discuss it with the team.”
