A beautiful Sprint
Marco Bezzecchi expected a complicated Saturday due to his physical condition. It has indeed been only three weeks since the double operation on his collarbone and knee.

‘Bez’ thus completed the Aprilia Sprint hat-trick, which exactly replicates the world championship standings. Jorge Martin leads, followed by Ai Ogura at 17 points behind, with Marco Bezzecchi now at -27.
Bezzecchi’s words to Sky Italia
“I feel good because I am happy, but I am tired and in pain. The painkillers did their job, but I have no strength because my left foot and hand go numb. It was difficult. The tears? I had fantastic people close to me, I thank everyone. Today was a tough day, yesterday I struggled but this morning as we expected I was worse. Qualifying broke me because I couldn’t do what I wanted, I lacked strength. Then in the Sprint I gave everything I had and it went well. The goal is to finish the race, in the last 2-3 laps I had a drop, I hope tomorrow the pace is a bit slower. I hope to do the best possible, but it will be tough.”
