MotoGP, Bagnaia towards Silverstone
Francesco Bagnaia arrives at the British Grand Prix with the goal of regaining consistency and relaunching his championship campaign. The sixth place at Sachsenring brought “Pecco” to eighth place in a standings that remains very tight, with a gap between Bagnaia and leader Jorge Martin of 65 points. A relatively small gap, but the Piedmontese must significantly raise his level even just to get back among the top three in the World Championship.

Silverstone could be an opportunity in this sense, because it is a circuit that Bagnaia likes a lot. However, it is very physically demanding, and “Pecco” comes from surgery for compartment syndrome on his right arm, so he will have to assess his physical condition from the very first laps of FP1. Bagnaia also had the chance to comment on the words of Casey Stoner who emphasized how right Pecco was about the Ducati GP-25.

Silverstone could be an ideal hunting ground for Aprilia, more than for Ducati, but Bagnaia remains confident to become competitive again and get on the podium after missing it in the Netherlands and Germany.
