Ogura wants to impress again at Silverstone
Three weeks to recharge the batteries, and MotoGP is ready to return to the track. For the Trackhouse team, the break came at the worst moment, because Davide Brivio’s team was coming off two consecutive double podiums with Ai Ogura and Raul Fernandez; however, upon returning from vacation there is Silverstone, a fast and flowing track, the ideal hunting ground for Aprilia, which won here in 2023 with Aleix Espargaró and last year with Marco Bezzecchi.

Ogura and Fernandez therefore want to continue to impress, and for the Japanese rider it is also an opportunity to get closer to the top of the World Championship held by Jorge Martin.
Ogura’s words
“Last year Silverstone was quite difficult. It was the beginning of the season, I was gaining rhythm and confidence, but on Friday morning I had a bad crash in turn 2 and injured my knee, which caused me to miss some races. Silverstone 2025 is one of the worst moments of that year, but the situation now is very different“, this is Ogura’s comment.

“Doing a perfect lap at Silverstone is really difficult, because there are so many corners, a lap is very long and there are fast corners, slow corners, many changes of direction: it is almost impossible to do a perfect lap, but you can get close. I hope to manage it, also because since I moved up to MotoGP, fast corners and flowing circuits are among my strengths and they excite me. I hope it works this time too, after Assen and Brno“.
Fernandez’s words
“I am really happy to be back here. I have always really liked this track, but I have never managed to get a good result like a top 5 finish, let alone the podium. So, this year I would like to do something different and try to fight for something important“, added Fernandez. “I know it is a difficult track, it is very long and you can make many mistakes in a single lap. It is hard to do well in qualifying because it is so long, but I think this year we have a great opportunity. Our bike works very well, I can’t wait“.
