Concessions: Ducati and Aprilia finally equal
The first half of the MotoGP 2026 season has been archived with five riders within 24 points. Jorge Martin surprisingly leads the World Championship with a 14-point advantage over Ai Ogura. Marc Marquez is the best Ducati rider at -18 points from Martin, closing the top-5 are Marco Bezzecchi at -22 and Fabio Di Giannantonio at -24.

Three Aprilia against two Ducati then, not forgetting that not far behind are also Raul Fernandez at -49 and Francesco Bagnaia at -65 with Pedro Acosta in between, the only top rider without an Aprilia or a Ducati.
At the concessions level, the two manufacturers will now be equalized since Ducati has dropped to band-B where Aprilia has risen. Davide Tardozzi trusts in a push coming from Borgo Panigale because according to the Ducati team manager Aprilia is still slightly ahead of Ducati.

I really hope our engineers can soon bring some improvements to the bike. The last two races went very well, even though we believe our rivals are still slightly ahead of us.”
