Fiat, growth in the European market continues

Fiat continues to accelerate in Europe, closing the first half of 2026 with commercial results of absolute importance. Compared to the same period in 2025, the Turin brand recorded an increase in registrations of 21.7%, bringing its market share to 3.3% (+0.4 percentage points). A figure that stands out especially for the quality of growth: Fiat indeed achieves the most significant market share increase among the main Stellantis brands. And although Europe represents the heart of the performance, these numbers also tell of an increasingly solid global positioning. A couple of examples: leadership in Italy, Brazil, and Algeria, key markets for the brand’s international presence.

Fiat grows in the European market

Italy confirms itself as the main reference market for Fiat. In our country, it reached a share of 12.6% in the first half, up 1.2 percentage points compared to the same period last year. The positive trend also strongly emerges outside national borders: in France registrations increased by 35.8%, while in Germany growth was 24.6%. The trend then extends to other strategic markets, including Poland (+35.1%), Belgium-Luxembourg (+15.9%), UK (+16.7%), and Portugal (+11.6%). Particularly brilliant is the performance in Austria, where Fiat registrations rose by 74.5% and the market share reached 2.5%.

From Pandina to 500

Driving the brand’s success is the strength of its flagship models. In the European A segment, the company consolidates leadership with Pandina and 500. The former leads the EU29 area for thermal engine vehicles and is the best-selling car in Italy, while the latter returns to the top of the A segment in Germany. In the B segment, Grande Panda advances decisively: it leads the Italian market and ranks as the third best-selling car overall in the country. Great momentum also in the world of electric quadricycles: Topolino confirms leadership and closes the best quarter ever in terms of order intake (+30% over last year), dominating in Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, and Belgium. Finally, excellent results come from Fiat Professional, which in Europe (EU29) reaches a share of 7.6% and maintains leadership in Italy with 24.8%.
