MotoGP Austin, the Race report
In the Sprints he might allow himself a few missteps, but in the GPs no one can stop him anymore. Marco Bezzecchi takes his fifth consecutive victory in the Sunday race, triumphing at COTA in Austin and, above all, regains that championship lead that Jorge Martin had taken from him with yesterday’s Sprint victory.

The Romagnolo, the first rider of the modern era to triumph in five consecutive GPs leading every lap, finishes ahead of the 2024 world champion in a race dominated and controlled since the decisive overtake on Pedro Acosta coming out of turn-11 on the first lap. Bez is sharp in containing Martin’s assault after the overtake on the KTM rider and confirms himself as the great protagonist of this start of the World Championship, with Italy at the top of motorsport thanks also to Kimi Antonelli.

The next round
Due to the war in Iran, MotoGP returns to the track only at the end of April with the Jerez de la Frontera round, which opens the European season. It starts on Friday, April 24 at 10:45 with FP1, while the Practice is scheduled for 15:00; on Saturday, April 25, FP2 will start at 10:10, followed by Qualifying, while the Sprint will start at 15:00; on Sunday, the fourth GP of the year will get underway at 14:00.
