A period to remember
The first half of the 2026 season saw the true revelation of the Racing Bulls, which at the end of the Hungarian Grand Prix set another record, albeit not yet official: after four consecutive races finished with both its drivers in the points, which also happened at the Hungaroring after the Spa ‘break’, the Faenza-based team prevailed over Alpine in the fight for fifth position alone in the Constructors’ standings, reaching what would be its highest point ever in F1.

The return to the points zone
Racing Bulls can therefore enjoy the summer break after excellent teamwork from its drivers, with Liam Lawson starting just outside the top 10 at the Hungaroring but climbing up to eighth position final: “Today was a good race for us – commented the New Zealander, who redeemed himself from the 12th place obtained in Belgium – the first corner and the first lap were obviously very important for me, as I had a difficult qualifying. After a great start, we knew we had a long race ahead of us, but the car proved to be super competitive throughout. A huge thank you to the team for making the right decision with the two-stop strategy. Having two cars in the points is a great way to conclude the first half of the season. Going into the summer break in fifth place in the Constructors’ Championship is the result of all the hard work put in by the team this year. While I look forward to recharging in the coming weeks, I am excited to carry this momentum to Zandvoort.”

Six consecutive races in the top 10
The only rookie on the grid in this championship, the 10th place of Arvid Lindblad obviously contributed to the team’s lead over Alpine in the world championship standings, with Racing Bulls aiming to reconfirm itself starting from the next Dutch GP, scheduled in Zandvoort on August 23rd: “It’s a great result for the team to have secured another double points finish today and to have reached fifth position in the Constructors’ Championship, so there’s a lot to be happy about – he added – the team has done an incredible job developing the car and it’s fantastic to see all that hard work pay off. It wasn’t an easy race for anyone in the midfield, it was challenging both mentally and physically, and we had a tough battle with the Audis. I wasn’t able to make the most of the start as I would have liked, but these are precisely the lessons I will take with me into the second half of the season. Overall, it’s been a really positive first half of the year and we go into the summer break with great momentum. I can’t wait to come back refreshed and build on what we’ve achieved so far.”
