From a pole position missed by just 12 thousandths to the risk of dropping to the third row. Lewis Hamilton seemed to have secured his 10th pole position in Hungary, but now risks dropping to fifth position.
Hamilton, in fact, impeded Oscar Piastri in Turn 1 after completing his second Q3 run in which he failed to improve.
The images speak for themselves, judging from Piastri’s on-board footage, Lewis Hamilton significantly hindered the McLaren Australian’s lap.

If Hamilton is demoted to fifth position Charles Leclerc will be promoted to the front row alongside Lando Norris with Andrea Kimi Antonelli and Max Verstappen on the second row. There would therefore be four different cars in the first two rows of the Hungarian GP starting grid.
