2026 F1 World Championship, here we go

After a very short winter, Formula 1 is ready to return to the track with a renewed look and cars born from the regulatory revolution. Tomorrow in Melbourne, the first official sessions of the World Championship will take place, and we will have a first indication of the initial hierarchies of the championship. Preceding FP1 (scheduled for 2:30 AM and which you can follow with our live coverage) will be the first “airing” of the 2026 opening titles.

The now iconic intro has been slightly lengthened in the initial part as it must “host” the two Cadillac drivers: the jingle starts precisely with the Americans and Sergio Perez, closing as per tradition with the reigning world champion, Lando Norris.

Like the 2025 one, the 2026 intro also follows the criterion of the last constructors’ standings, scrolling from bottom to top. “Ascending” criterion also for the order of teammates: first the one who obtained fewer points in 2025, then the “lead driver”.

Valtteri Bottas seems particularly happy with the result, showing his usual self-irony and being pleased with the pose chosen for the video. He will most likely occupy the last positions on the grid, but at least among social media “memes” he will be the most popular.
