Hamilton chooses a low profile

Ferrari brought the new Macarena wing for high-downforce circuits to the Hungaroring, but Lewis Hamilton preferred to avoid the role of favorite for this race weekend, despite being a specialist on this track where he has achieved nine pole positions and eight victories.
“I would say that Ferrari hasn’t changed much since Monaco. There are small details, but the car is similar to the one in Monaco,” Hamilton said at the press conference.
“I believe that, although Ferrari has improved, Mercedes remains the team to beat – Hamilton added – they have won almost all races and are the fastest on every type of circuit, including those that require high cornering speed. They were the fastest in Monaco and it is reasonable to expect them to be so this weekend as well.”
