Aprilia at the break in the lead
The recent trend seeing Marc Marquez winner in 3 of the last 4 races cannot make us forget that at mid-season Aprilia can be proud to have Jorge Martin leading the world riders’ championship with a 14-point advantage over Ai Ogura, rider of the Noale satellite team – that is Trackhouse.
But not only because in the constructors’ standings Aprilia leads with 330 points, +11 over Ducati. And in the ranking dedicated to the teams, Aprilia Racing with 394 points is ahead of Trackhouse – 41 points behind – and Ducati Lenovo – at -61. In short, Massimo Rivola can think about the break with a smile.

Rivola takes pressure off his riders
In an interview given to Sky Sport on the sidelines of the Moto d’Italia event, Massimo Rivola – CEO of Aprilia Racing – commented on the 11 races held so far in 2026: “We have always said it from the beginning, we don’t look at the standings, especially not now.
We know anyway that we have very strong riders, both us and our satellite team. We know that the bike is very competitive, so I have always thought it would be a world championship to be played until the last race. It is very nice to be part of the game and it is very nice to play such an Italian challenge for a world championship of this level.”

In short, Rivola’s words are wise and aimed at taking pressure off his riders: “I believe that, just as you go down quickly, you can come back up quickly, so I believe that, as I said, we will fight until the end. We know that over there there is a certain Marc Marquez who clearly has all the advantages of being the favorite, but we never give up.”
