After the accident involving Alex Marquez, in fact, it is shown how a member of the Gresini team had informed the Ducati box before the second start that the Spanish rider had chest and shoulder pain (he fractured his clavicle) but was moving his arms and legs as well as being conscious.
On the occasion of the second start, the pile-up involved Bagnaia and inside the red box it was clear from the start that Pecco had taken “a hard hit“. The Italian rider still managed to get fifth place which then turned into a podium and it is nice to see how for the men in red the end of a dramatic Sunday was positive also because Bagnaia’s is the first podium for the Lenovo team in a Sunday GP in this 2026. Dall’Igna also followed the “machine” Nicolò Bulega who is already defined as the big favorite to win the Champions race at WDW, the World Ducati Week.
