09.40 β Bezzecchi wins and redeems yesterday’s zero, second is Acosta who is the new World Championship leader, Raul Fernandez completes the podium. Ducati out of the top 5, it hadn’t happened since the 2020 European GP.

Lap 26/26 β The final lap begins for Bezzecchi, a triumphant ride for him after yesterday’s mistake. He will be second in the World Championship behind Acosta, who wouldn’t have believed it if they told him he’d leave Thailand with 32 points. Below are more images of Marc Marquez’s technical DNF.

Lap 21/26 β Raul Fernandez seems to be in clear difficulty, Acosta is now right on the tail of the Trackhouse rider. Ogura has moved up to eighth position after overtaking Alex Marquez.
Lap 20/26 β Sensational braking by Mir at the last corner, a successful attack on Di Giannantonio that earns him sixth position.

Lap 18/26 β The end of the race will be animated by Acosta and Marquez’s comeback on Raul Fernandez to decide the second and third steps of the podium. Mir is in Di Giannantonio’s slipstream in the fight for sixth position.
Lap 17/26 β Ducati has been on the podium for 89 consecutive races, this streak is currently being broken. Bezzecchi has clearly pulled away from the competition.

Lap 16/26 β Ogura has passed Binder, moving up to tenth position.
Lap 15/26 β Acosta is making a great comeback on Fernandez, now he has only 2.2 seconds to recover. Fernandez had a shoulder problem in the warm-up, we’ll see if he has physical issues in this second part of the race.
Lap 14/26 β Bezzecchi continues to hammer under 1’31”, he is the only one who manages to stay under the 1’31” barrier. Great move by Acosta who avoided losing the front at the last corner.

Lap 12/26 β Acosta recovers a tenth on Fernandez.
Lap 11/26 β Bezzecchi continues to lead the race undisturbed with a two-second advantage over Raul Fernandez, Acosta needs to recover three seconds on the Trackhouse rider.
Lap 10/26 β The battle between Martin and Acosta continues, Marquez takes advantage and moves up to third position, but then Acosta overtakes the Ducati rider again in the technical section, definitively settling into third position.
