If last year the World Championship began with a Ducati poker, this year the Thailand GP testifies that a handover is underway. From Borgo Panigale to Noale is less than two hours by road, but in MotoGP the world seems to have changed: Aprilia is the new benchmark of the World Championship, and while Marc Marquez is knocked out by a puncture, Marco Bezzecchi imitates him perfectly, dominating the inaugural GP.

For the Bez it is the third consecutive success counting the long races, while Aprilia places a sensational poker in the first five positions. Credit also goes to Raul Fernandez, Jorge Martin and Ai Ogura, third, fourth and fifth respectively. The only one to give a different color to the top standings is Pedro Acosta, second at the finish line after winning a great battle with Marquez and Martin.

The schedule

MotoGP returns in three weeks, visiting Brazil 22 years after the last time. On the Goiânia circuit, the action will start on Friday, March 20, with FP1 at 15.05 and Practice at 19.20. Saturday at 14.10 FP2, followed by Qualifying (Q1 at 14.50, Q2 at 15.15). The Sprint will be at 19:00, the same time for Sunday’s GP.
