Bearman dreams of Ferrari
Perhaps not even at Ferrari did they believe that Oliver Bearman would be ready for the Scuderia so soon. The Briton, who only reached 30 career GPs in the unfortunate Suzuka event, has instead proven all the skeptics wrong with performances of pure substance already in his debut year with Haas. A team he brought into the points in the first two Sundays. Before the bad accident in Japan, an eye-popping top-5 finish arrived in China: taking away the unreachable Mercedes and Ferrari, it was Bearman himself who was the “best of the rest”.

In short, if Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton represent the present of Ferrari, Bearman is indisputably its future. The talent from the Red Academy knows it too, having shed his initial shyness and openly declaring that he feels ready for the big leap to Maranello.
Bearman’s words
“Of course I feel ready. I think if I didn’t feel ready to fight for the top I shouldn’t even show up on the track. I feel absolutely ready for podiums and victories“, he told the Telegraph. “If I am here it is only thanks to Ferrari, who trusted me and supported me from the beginning. My biggest long-term dream is to wear a red suit and race with Ferrari. I would be lying if I said otherwise“.
Bearman, however, still has to wait, especially with the Hamilton of early 2026, who appeared physically and mentally regenerated despite the small step back in Suzuka: “But I don’t think he sees me as a threat. He is the most successful driver ever in our sport, a role model for all of us. And at the moment my focus is completely on Haas; I believe that this year, with the new regulations, we have the opportunity to do something truly important“.
