Red skirmishes
Both in Shanghai and in Suzuka the two Ferraris of Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc found themselves battling on track, with a favorable outcome in China for the Englishman and in Japan for the Monegasque.
Leclerc in Suzuka overtook Hamilton with a fine maneuver on the outside of Turn 1, after having cryptically indicated to the team via radio that he “was losing time” behind his teammate.
Once again, no team orders were issued from the pit wall to the two drivers.

Vasseur stays calm
Frederic Vasseur downplayed the new challenge on track between the two Ferrari drivers: “In overtaking mode it is now easier to stay behind someone. But as soon as you lose ground, it is difficult to maintain the position. But Charles and Lewis have experience, they are professionals and they know what they are doing: I am not afraid”, he stated confidently to Sky Deutschland.
Lewis Hamilton stated that on his SF-26 there was a power issue that prevented him from resisting the overtaking maneuvers of Leclerc, Russell and Norris.
