Stunning pole for Jorge Martin, front row with Marc Marquez and Pedro Acosta. Below is the final picture of Q2 of the Austrian GP.

Good morning dear readers of FormulaPassion.it and welcome back to the live written coverage of FP2 and Qualifying of the 2026 Austrian GP, where MotoGP is racing at the Spielberg circuit.

Pedro Acosta was the fastest on Friday and is set to be a major protagonist again this morning. Francesco Bagnaia and Raul Fernandez are the two ‘big names’ who missed direct access to Q2 and will therefore be on track immediately in Q1.

The schedule foresees FP2 starting at 10:10, Q1 at 10:50, and Q2 at 11:15.
