A dominant Mercedes
The leadership of the drivers’ and constructors’ championships in this 2027 has never really been in question – at least so far. Soon Mercedes and Andrea Kimi Antonelli made it clear that only crumbs would remain for the rivals.
In the 14 Grand Prix seen so far, the Silver Arrows led by Toto Wolff have achieved 10 wins and 10 pole positions, numbers that leave very little room for interpretation.

Performances that find clear confirmation in the constructors’ standings, where Mercedes leads with 503 points and is ahead of Ferrari by as many as 143 points and McLaren by 197.
And in the drivers’ championship, Antonelli and Russell are at the top, with the ‘first of the others’ Lewis Hamilton trailing by 101 points.
Toto Wolff is already thinking about 2027
During the Madrid weekend, Toto Wolff explained that updates on the Mercedes – the first in months – will arrive for the Malaysian race. But work has been going on in the factory for months on the next season.
