Crutchlow has no doubts about Pecco’s value

From Assen onwards, however, between crashes and technical knockouts Bagnaia scored points only in the anonymous Sachsenring weekend where he was the fourth Ducati on track out of five ahead of only Franco Morbidelli with Fermin Aldeguer absent due to injury.
From 2027 Bagnaia will be an official Aprilia rider, an important discontinuity to turn the page leaving behind an end of the adventure in Ducati that seems destined to be decidedly less prominent.
Cal Crutchlow has no doubts that Bagnaia will return to the top: “What Bagnaia is experiencing is a phase that more or less everyone goes through during their career – said the English rider in Aragon to the official MotoGP website – he has simply gone through a rough patch, and that is what sometimes happens to athletes and sportsmen. And when you are alone on the bike, if you don’t have the right feelings, it is difficult.”
“There is no doubt that Bagnaia is still one of the best riders in this championship – added Crutchlow – I firmly believe he will return to the top. He is still young and has extraordinary talent. It hurts to see him like this at the moment, he must stay focused and sooner or later he will return to the top.”
