Number 37. Marc Marquez has reached the goal he set before the weekend and in Aragon he scored 37 points for the third consecutive year, winning both the Sprint and the GP. A fundamental result in the championship perspective, since now the reigning champion is second in the World Championship, 19 points behind Jorge Martin and with five precious points ahead of Marco Bezzecchi.

After the race, as usual, Ducati’s general manager Gigi Dall’Igna spoke to the microphones of Sky Sport MotoGP, highlighting the feat accomplished by Marquez.
“Marc was very good again today – commented Dall’Igna – he made a beautiful start, a wonderful first braking but then I think he had a problem with the downshifter. The bike didn’t come back up as it should have and so in turns 2 and 3 he had some problems. But then he did his race and was the champion he is“.
“World Championship? Apart from the second position Marquez took today, it will be tough until the end. I believe there will be tracks more favorable to us and others more favorable to our rivals – concluded Dall’Igna – so it will definitely be a battle to carry on with the head“.
