Ferrari in third row at Zandvoort
Yesterday Charles Leclerc stopped just a few hundredths from pole in the Sprint Qualifying, highlighting that he had set the best single lap of the season, today Ferrari was not able to significantly go below yesterday’s reference and here the SF-26s will find themselves tomorrow side by side in the third row in the Dutch GP with Lewis Hamilton ahead of Charles Leclerc.

The gap from the McLarens and Mercedes was quite noticeable, so there is not much to complain about at Ferrari even if Frederic Vasseur questions the actual usefulness of the new soft tire set saved for tomorrow’s race.
“It’s not the result we expected, but we struggled in all three sessions – said the Ferrari team principal to Sky – we have one more set of new soft tires for tomorrow and this is an advantage, even if in the Sprint we found out that it is not easy to overtake, so maybe it was better to use it in Qualifying.”
