Renewal until 2030

The words of Verstappen and Mekies
Max Verstappen: “I am really happy about the contract renewal. We have the best people and I am excited to continue working with everyone to get back to the top. This remains the ultimate goal that we have all worked for and will continue to pursue. I want to thank Red Bull, Laurent, and everyone at Oracle Red Bull Racing for the trust they have given me. I have always said: the Team is like a second family to me and I really feel at home. I joined the Team hoping to win races. What we have achieved together has been simply wonderful, we have shared many incredible moments and won four World Championships.
Continuing this journey with the same Team with which I have spent my entire career is really special and something I have always wanted to do. Also working with Laurent for over a year has been fantastic, I see a clear vision he has for the Team. Everyone in Milton Keynes believes in what we are building and I can’t wait to start the next chapter, fighting for more wins and competing for championships as we continue to shape the future of the Team. Announcing all this during the last Grand Prix at Zandvoort is a fantastic moment for me as well. I hope we can give the fans a special farewell for the last race”.

Laurent Mekies: “Having Max with us and being able to count on the best driver on the grid is fantastic news for everyone at Red Bull as well as for F1 and motorsport in general. Very few partnerships in sport achieve what Max and this Team have accomplished. From the beginning, Max has embodied everything that makes Oracle Red Bull Racing special: uncompromising competitiveness, unwavering determination, and the courage to challenge conventions. His impact on our Team and Red Bull’s history in motorsport has been transformative and has been fundamental to everything we have achieved together. The decision to continue our journey together is based on the trust Max and the Team have built over the years, as well as the trust Max places in our people, our culture, and our vision for the future. Forged through championship successes, intense battles, and difficult moments, this relationship has only strengthened, becoming one of the greatest success stories in Formula 1.
But we are not done yet. There are more races to win, more to face. Milestones to reach and more history to write. Together, we continue to raise the bar with the same determination that brought us to the top of this sport and with even greater confidence in what we can achieve. Much will change in the future, but our ambition remains unchanged: united by one direction, one vision, one team”.
