Hadjar reportedly sustained the physical problem during a training session at the gym in preparation for the Zandvoort race. Red Bull’s plan would be to rest him in the Netherlands and have him ready again for Monza.
Domino effect for Lawson and Tsunoda
In place of the Frenchman, Red Bull would then have chosen for this weekend Liam Lawson – Racing Bulls driver – who already shared the team with Max Verstappen in the first two races of the 2025 season (with disappointing results).

This domino effect would also benefit Yuki Tsunoda, at the wheel of the Racing Bulls, returning to an F1 race weekend for the first time since 2025.
