The four-time world champion in the impact also violently hit the chassis of his car with his hands, but fortunately suffered no consequences.
“I have already had an X-ray, I have nothing broken”, Verstappen told Sky Sport at the end of Qualifying, which nevertheless recorded the excellent third-fastest time of Isack Hadjar.

The result of his teammate is not enough to make Verstappen smile: “The gap between the Mercedes and everyone else is truly enormous. What happened to the car? We don’t know, I only know that suddenly the rear locked up completely. For now, I’m not having fun at all”.
