“The 850 prototype is not as fast as the current MotoGP bikes, but I don’t think the fans will notice – said Marc Marquez speaking on the YouTube channel Soy Black – I hoped they would further reduce the aerodynamics, I wished for a more noticeable step back in this regard.”
“Obviously, without aerodynamics, we could see more group races, like in Moto3 – added Marquez – in MotoGP it’s more difficult, because you lose aerodynamic downforce and the bike’s performance worsens. You have to get used to it. Every era has its pros and cons. I think the most significant change concerns the tires“.

In 2027, in fact, Pirelli tires will debut. The Italian supplier will take over from Michelin.
