Ferrari: future tests for the 499P at Monza ahead of the updates expected in 2027

Ferrari carried out a two-day test at the Monza circuit with the aim of verifying that the design ideas to develop the 499P for the 2027 championship are effective. Below is the official note issued by the Maranello Scuderia at the end of the test concluded on Thursday.

“On the 5.793 kilometers of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, the second day of testing with the Ferrari 499P ahead of the next racing season ended. At the wheel of the car were the reigning World Champions Alessandro Pier Guidi and Antonio Giovinazzi, and Miguel Molina, all protagonists along with their teammates from the official Ferrari – AF Corse team of the World Constructors’ Championship won in 2025.”

“Also in action on the Italian circuit was the 499P engaged in the current season, which carried out tests on the fast Italian circuit in preparation for the 6 Hours of Monza, which will conclude the world championship calendar next November.”

The Ferrari team continued the planned development program with the aim of evaluating different technical and aerodynamic solutions, starting a progressive path that includes on-track verification of various design options and different configurations, before the final homologation scheduled in the coming months.”
