Leadership in F2
The recent performances of Nikola Tsolov in the Formula 2 championship, where he leads the overall standings by 20 points over Gabriele Minì, have inevitably attracted the attention of Racing Bulls, with team principal Alan Permane being the first to recognize the great work done by the 21-year-old Bulgarian, a member of the Red Bull Junior Team. Not by chance, the six victories so far achieved by the Campos driver will be rewarded with the realization of a dream.

The debut in F1
On August 27, Tsolov will carry out his first test behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car. For him too, as has happened to young talents in recent months, the TPC (Test Previous Cars) will take place, that is the test with cars used by teams before the current championship. Specifically, Tsolov will take to the track at Imola behind the wheel of the Racing Bulls VCARB02 from last season. The test, necessary to obtain the FIA Superlicense to be able to debut in F1 free practice sessions, will also be attended by the current official drivers of the Faenza team: Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad.

The future goal
The Racing Bulls announcement, moreover, has only increased the rumors about a possible arrival of Tsolov in Formula 1, with the Bulgarian confident he can give his best if the opportunity arises: “You always want to believe you are the best at what you do, and this year I will try to prove it – he said to Sky F1 – and knowing what I have done so far, I think I can adapt well if I am given the opportunity. I know I will work hard to get it, and overall I feel confident.”
