Even after a Superpole Race that started uphill, which saw Nicolò Bulega occupy unusual positions compared to those in which he has dominated in this start of the world championship, the world championship leader did not give up. Once again, the #11 of Ducati crossed the finish line ahead of everyone, entering more and more into the history of Superbike by winning his twenty-first consecutive victory. A success obtained again in front of his teammate Iker Lecuona, who until the final stages of the race seemed really one step away from being able to climb to the top step of the podium, finishing 2nd once again after a good duel. A battle that nevertheless gave Ducati another victory, with the two followed by Sam Lowes.

Race Report
At the start, Lecuona managed to take the lead over Bulega, who slipped to third position during the first lap after Surra’s attack. The world championship leader was then also overtaken by Sam Lowes, with the Briton subsequently moving into second place ahead of Surra. In the early stages of the race, Bulega seemed to be in difficulty, even dropping to 5th place behind Baldassarri, but from the 3rd lap, the Ducati rider’s comeback began. In the following lap, in fact, the rider from Emilia even moved up to second place, giving life to a good fight with Lecuona for the race lead. The challenge between the two riders from Borgo Panigale continued until the eighth lap, the penultimate one, with Bulega stably returning to the lead of the Superpole Race, securing the victory, his twentieth consecutive. Third position for Sam Lowes, followed by an excellent Alberto Surra, who returned to fourth place after Baldassarri’s crash.
