The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is a motor-racing circuit located in Stavelot, Belgium and is home to the Belgian Grand Prix. The circuit has undergone several redesigns through its history, most extensively in 1979 when the track was modified and shortened from a 14.1km circuit using public roads to a 6.95 km permanent circuit due to safety concerns with the old circuit. The final iterarion of the circuit came in 2007 with the bus stop chicane moved back and La Source moved further down the road to allow for a longer pit lane. The circuits Eau Rouge corner is the most famous in Formula 1 with cars taking the corner flat out at 300km/h +.

SPa has hosted 52 Formula 1 Grand Prixs. Michael Shumacher holds the record for the most wins with 6, while Ferrari have won at this track 14 times. Lewis Hamilton has scored the most poles here also with 6. The polesitter has gone on to finish on the podium at this circuit on 33 occasions, including in every season since 2007.
