Formula 1 Grosser Preis Von Österreich 2021

02-04 July

FP1: 2:10pm
FP2: 6:10pm
FP3: 11am
Qual: 2pm
Race: 2pm

Originally built as the Österreichring in 1969 its current layout and name change came about in 2011 when the Red Bull reaunched the circuit after completing major works. While it is significantly shorter than the original track that hosted the Austraian GP back in 1970 it is a driver favourite. The current track has only been used since 2014, however previous incarnations of the circuit were used from 1970 – 1985, then from 1985 – 2004 (A1 Ring).

The Red Bull RIng in Austria has hosted 31 Grands Prix between 1970 and 2020. With 3 wins Alain Prost is the most successful driver at this track. Constructor Mclaren does best with a total of 6 victories at the A1/Red. Bull Ring.

The pole position record at this track belongs to Valteri Bottas, Nelson Piquet, Rene Arnoux and Niki Lauda, with 3 poles each.
