Formula 1 Emirates Gran Premio Dell'emilia Romagna 2021

16-18 April

FP1: 2:10pm
FP2: 6:10pm
FP3: 11am
Qual: 2pm
Race: 2pm

The circuit is famous for so many reasons, if not for the single event that changed Formula 1 safety standards forever on that fateful day in 1994. The former host of the San Marino Grand Prix spent 26 years as a fixture on the calendar and the track was re-named Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Enzo Ferrari’s honour following his death in 1988. To most it is better known as simply Imola. In 1963, Imola hosted its first Formula 1 event, won by Jim Clark, who lapped all but one driver. After 1995 significant changes were made to slow cars down, but in 2006 the circuit was dropped. Unique to this race is that it will be a two-day event, with a single practice session before qualifying on Saturday. The 19 turn circuit has been in its current guise since 2008

Michael Schumacher leads the stats with an 7 wins. Williams has won here 8 times, more than any other constructor. The late Ayrton Senna had qualified on pole 8 times.
